In the 80’s and the 90’s pre millennium/ to our house the misfit kids they would come/ because of her compassion exuberant lung/ a gentle voice with a backbone strong / would leave a hundred sheep to seek out the lost one / so she’s far from weak strength like a mastodon/ inspirational as a kid and my teens Showed me what unconditional love really means / of course she had her own battles behind the scenes/ but she never took it out on us , her faith held her like beams/ her dreams took the backseat of the station wagon she drove the car while we sang songs laughing/ my moms words always walked with action/ and when her world came crashing Grace pulled her back in/ she emerged as a nurse ,So much love for people /She’s a caregiver, my mom and my hero
